This is a great combination of a blue double-bound Tele body (donated by Larry) coupled with a roasted maple T-style neck that I swapped with Dave for another neck. The two go together really well and feel great together. I decided to ‘copy’ the Fender Modern Player style of guitar with a 5 way switch with 3 pickups: a bridge humbucker, a middle humbucker (s/coil sized) and a neck single coil.
There is a mini toggle switch to cut both humbuckers to single coil and volume and tone controls. The combination of Spare Parts here really work together to make an unusual and individual Tele with a wide range of tone options. The headstock is fitted with Wilkinson EZ-lock tuners; there’s a Tusq nut and of course a full Reloved Guitars precision-levelled set up to complete the guitar.
I fitted a gold neck plate… just because it seemed to work with the blue and white binding better than the others that I had in stock; so that’s what I left on there 🙂 The clear plastic knobs featured abalone caps adding some colour to the control plate.
