Reloved Guitars set-ups work on the basis that if you can’t feel the difference, then I’ve not set it up yet! My customers typically want lower, buzz- and choke-free actions. Using my precision fret leveling method (done with the strings on for maximum accuracy and minimum fret metal loss) I will give you that AND rock solid tuning stability too.
Electric guitar set-ups almost always involve precision fret leveling to get to the desired action; acoustic guitars can almost always be improved without the need to level the frets. I fit Tusq nuts or – increasingly – custom Tusq adjustable nuts to all the guitars I set up.
Turnaround time on set-ups is usually within a week: If I receive the guitar by mid-week then I normally have the set-up done and the guitar ready to dispatch by the following Monday for a mid-week delivery. I’ve got a 100% no loss, no damage record on well over 800 guitars using my packaging method so it’s no surprise that most of my work is via courier from all over the UK, the EU and further afield.
